Rohde & Schwarz extends into N.A. EMC market

MANHASSET, NY -- Rohde & Schwarz will take over the sales of anechoic chambers and shielded rooms from the Albatross Projects Group in the U.S. and Canada.

The two companies have globally collaborated for more than 20 years on turnkey solutions and EMC test systems for CISPR, IEC, automotive and military standards.

“Rohde & Schwarz is the only company on the market to continuously offer standard-compliant EMC T&M solutions for more than 40 years,”said Dietmar Vahldiek, head of the Systems and Projects Subdivision at Rohde & Schwarz, in a statement. “The anechoic chambers and shielded rooms from Albatross Projects and the company's decades of experience combined with our products and expertise allow us to offer all-in-one solutions that meet our EMC customers' requirements in all respects."   
   
Albatross Projects Group is a supplier of EMC systems, including absorber products, test chambers, RF chambers and microwave test systems. Headquartered in Nattheim, Baden-Württemberg, the company is a spin-off of the EMC activities at Siemens Matsushita Components GmbH.   
   
Rohde & Schwarz is supplier of solutions in the fields of test and measurement, broadcasting, radio monitoring and radiolocation, as well as secure communications.
