Microsemi to share expertise and demo solutions at DESIGN West

WHAT: Microsemi Corporation will exhibit and demonstrate a variety of solutions at the upcoming DESIGN West show. Held March 27-29 in San Jose, Calif., DESIGN West is a new event built on a rich engineering education foundation combined with popular electronic design summits. Microsemi invites attendees to visit the company at booth 2120 to learn more about:

  • Its new single-chip, multi-axis motor control kit that allows designers to lower product development costs and bring products to market quickly;
  • ZL70250, an ultra-low-power radio frequency (RF) transceiver, which supports wireless telemetry in applications where low-power requirements were previously unfeasible, such as wireless sensors in medical and M2M applications with extended battery-life; and
  • Latest developments in its high availability system management, LED/lighting and photovoltaic solutions.

In addition, Mir Sayed Ali, senior staff applications engineer in Microsemi's SoC product group, will present his expertise in a session titled, Power Aware HW/SW Partitioning on the cSoC Platform.

WHO: Electronics engineers interested in exploring embedded hardware and software design, total systems integration, power management, open source software, embedded security, LEDs, sensors and other timely topics will be in attendance at the conference.

WHEN: Microsemi's exhibition booth will be open Tuesday, March 27 through Thursday, March 29 during show hours. Ali's presentation will take place Wednesday, March 28 at 4:30 p.m.

WHERE: Microsemi will be exhibiting in booth 2120 at DESIGN West, which will be held at the McEnery Convention Center, located at 150 W. San Carlos Street in San Jose, Calif. Ali's March 28 session will take place in room N of the venue.
